Governance

On-chain governance proposals let AURA token holders shape the future of the network. Vote yes or no on changes to protocol parameters, treasury spending, and validator policies. Each proposal requires a minimum of 100 AURA to submit.

How Governance Works

1
Submit a Proposal

Any AURA holder with at least 100 AURA can submit a governance proposal. Proposals include a title, description, and run for 14,400 blocks.

2
Community Votes

Token holders vote yes or no. Voting power is weighted by AURA balance. Any holder can vote once per proposal.

3
Result Enforced On-Chain

When the voting window closes, the result is recorded on-chain. Proposals that pass a simple majority are marked passed.
